Bry Toll

Bry Toll is a light lyric coloratura soprano based in the D.C. Metropolitan area. She completed her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at James Madison University, where she performed a variety of roles such as Casilda from Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Gondoliers, and Valletto from Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, becoming known for her silvery tone, comedic mannerisms, and unique interpretations. Her craft has brought her abroad to Germany, having performed the roles of Papagena and Zweite Knabe in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro with the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar. She has also been involved in several projects with the Shakespeare Opera Theatre in Mclean, VA to cover several roles in Verdi’s Macbeth. Her upcoming performances include the soprano soloist in Fauré’s Requiem and will be covering Musetta in SOT’s production of La vie de Bohème.
