Melissa Jean Chávez has been acclaimed by the Washington Post for her “voluptuous voice” and “coolly exemplary production”. Upcoming performances include appearances with Opera on Tap, Bay Atlantic Symphony, and the Accord Symphony Orchestra. When not on the stage, she can be found hiking and paddling with her dogs, trying out a new recipe or planning her next adventure.
