Lindsay Williams (Principal Clarinet/Orchestra Manager) began working with Shakespeare Opera Theatre (SOT) in 2016 as clarinetist, marketing assistant, and music arranger for the orchestra for SOT’s production of Verdi’s Falstaff. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Arts degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University. She taught private saxophone and clarinet in Northern Virginia for nine years, where her students consistently placed in top chairs in All-District Band auditions, and received Superior and Excellent ratings at Solo & Ensemble Festival. Lindsay continues to work as a clinician and coach in the area and is excited to mentor the students at Charles J. Colgan, Sr. High School for the Arts.
