Winter Nights Concert: “Crazy Opera Dream”

Imelda Franklin Bogue, Contralto (Denver Colorado)

Some dreams are best experienced in a hall full of people, with a colorful contralto at full power. Imelda Franklin Bogue brings her rich, rafter-rattling voice all the way from Denver, Colorado for an evening that’s part comedy, part fever dream, and entirely unmissable. Expect big emotions, bigger notes, and no one checking their phone. Wake up in January with something worth dreaming about. Tickets are limited, and this one doesn’t repeat.

Saturday, February 13 – 7:00 PM

Winter Nights Concert: “Sacred and Profane Love Machine”

Countertenor Ian Pathak

Love: holy, scandalous or both before intermission. The night before Valentine’s Day, rising countertenor Ian Pathak takes on devotion and desire in a program that treats the heart as a machine that never quite behaves. Come for the soaring voice, stay for the arments over which kind of love wins. Bring a date, bring a rival, or bring both and let the music sort it out.

Sunday, March 14 – 2:00 PM

Winter Nights Concert: Sibling Rivalry Fiddle Band

Back by popular demand, Irish fiddle band Sibling Rivalry brings their smash hits with a smattering of family feaud to Hudson Hall. Get ready for fast fiddles, lilting voices, Celtic dancing and Hibernian hijinks! We’re serving Irish food, so come hungry; and plenty of Guinness, so come thirsty. It’s an afternoon matinee, so you can celebrate in daylight and still be home in good time. No one will check how well you can sing along, and everyone will try anyway. Get your tickets early, because the luck of the irish doesn’t cover sold-out shows.
