Isabella Umberger, Soprano, is excited to perform with SOT! She is an active performer of classical music, opera, and video game music. Recent highlights include performing as a chorister and “Heavensward” Soloist in the Distant Words concert series (March ’24), as a chorister in the Nier concert series (October ’24), and as a chorister and soloist with the Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO). She serves WMGSO as the soprano section leader and formerly served SOT as a volunteer producer. Isabella enjoys collaborating with local groups like overtone singers Harmonic Introduction and Hot Pot Productions for events like the Baltimore 48 Hour Film Festival and improv concerts. Past opera credits include Madame Pompous (Too Many Sopranos), Mimi (La Boheme), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), Fairy 1 (The Fairy Queen), and Enone (La descente d’Orphée aux enfers). Isabella holds a BA in Voice from UMBC, and is a voice student of Dr. Lori Lind.
